The team at Iden Manor Nursing Home is celebrating after Arvita Boodhoo was named a finalist in the Best Newcomer Award category at the Kent Care Awards.
The award recognises an individual who may be relatively new to the care sector but has already demonstrated outstanding commitment, compassion and potential.
Since joining Iden Manor, Arvita has quickly become a valued member of the team, building positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues while embracing the home’s values and person-centred approach to care.
Although still at the beginning of their career, Anvita has shown that making a meaningful difference does not depend on how long someone has worked in social care. A willingness to listen, learn and bring kindness to every interaction can have an immediate and lasting impact.
